Mostly, companies include their operational information on their website in about us section. You should read about it before the interview. You can also do some research about company history, market share, products and services. All this research is useful in answering questions like:

  • What do you know about our company?
  • Why you are interested in this job?
  • What motivates you about this job?
  • Where you see yourself in next 5 years?
  • etc.

Will you fit in the existing culture and office environment?

This question covers personal behavior. You may find cooperative colleagues in jobs and you can also see some rude people. Sometimes, you will have to deal with angry clients during your career. So, they can ask you about such situations in the interview. Companies may also operate in different type of cultures. You should observe or ask about company’s working environment. They may judge your behavior from questions like:

Be polite and patient when answering such questions. Some of the questions are not to know if you are telling the correct thing or wrong but they are about your behavior.
