Stenographer

  • Basic pay scale is of 14.
  • A total of 10 vacancies are available for this post.
  • The applicant for this post must have done his intermediate or equivalent qualification from any recognized institute.
  • The applicant must also have a speed of 80WPM in English shorthand whereas 35WPM in English typing.
  • A preference will be given to those having a speed 60WPM in urdu shorthand and 25WPM in urdu typing.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Supervisor

  • Basic pay scale is of 11.
  • A total of 64 vacancies are available for this post.
  • the applicant must have done his matriculation with 3 years of diploma in agricultural engineering, mechanical engineering, auto and farm machinery or civil engineering from Punjab board of technical education.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Junior Clerk

  • Basic pay scale is of 11.
  • A total of 61 vacancies are available for this post.
  • The applicant must have his higher secondary education certificate (2nd division) from any intermediate & secondary education.
  • The applicant must also have a typing speed of 25WPM on computer.
  • A preference will be given to those applicants who know the use of Microsoft office on computer.

Computer Operator

  • Basic pay scale is of 11.
  • A total of 1 vacancy is available for this post.
  • The applicant must be graduate (2nd division) with also having 4-month training in computer language.
  • The applicant for this post must have to pass the computer test to prove his competence.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Driver

  • Basic pay scale is of 4.
  • A total of 42 vacancies are available for this post.
  • The applicant must be literate and must also have LTC license with 5 years of driving experience.
  • The applicant’s age must be 26 to 35 years.

Rodman

  • Basic pay scale is of 1.
  • A total of 64 vacancies are available for this post.
  • Must be healthy.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Naib Qasid

  • Basic pay scale is of 1.
  • A total of 29 vacancies are available for this post.
  • Must be literate.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Chowkidar

  • Must be healthy.
  • The applicant’s age must be 21 to 35 years.

Sweeper

  • Basic pay scale is of 1.
  • A total of 10 vacancies are available for this post.
  • Must be healthy.
  • The applicant’s age must be 18 to 25 years.

Instructions & Method of Apply:

  1. This recruitment shall initially be made for three years In accordance with the Contract Policy 2004 of Government of the Punjab. Extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
  2. The contract employees working in the ongoing Punjab Irrigated- Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project (PlPIP) of Irrigation Reforms Wing of Agriculture Department shall be preferred on the basis of good performance and they shall be awarded a maximum of up to 10 additional marks at the rate of two marks annually, on the basis of experience.
  3. A maximum relaxation of up to five years shall be allowed in the upper age limit as per the prevalent government rules. However, the relaxation in age to the contract employees of PIPIP shall be given on the basis of their previous employment.
  4. Contract could be revoked on payment of one-month salary or one month notice without assigning any reason thereof. Likewise, in case of leaving job, a one-month salary or one month advance written notice shall have to be given.
  5. The employees recruited on contract basis shall neither be entitled for pension. Provident fund. GP fund nor shall deduction of any kind be made from their salary under this head.
  6. The employees recruited on contract shall reserve no right for permanent employment for this or any other post. Moreover. the right to seniority due to this appointment shall also not be reserved by them.
  7. As per the prevalent law, Recruitment shall be made on the women, employees’ children, disabled persons and minorities quotas and the candidates of these quotas clearly mention it in their applications.
  8. Applications of interested persons written on plain papers should reach the office of Director General Agriculture (Irrigation Reforms) 21 -Davies Road, Lahore by the stipulated date during working hours.
  9. Applications must be accompanied with copies of degrees. Certificates. Computerized identity card and domicile certificate attested by any gazette officer and two fresh attested photographs.
  10. Employees of Irrigation Reforms wing (PlPIP) dispatch applications through their offices. Furthermore, five-year performance report attested by the relevant Deputy Director Agriculture (Irrigation Reforms) must be attached with the applications.
  11. Separate intimation for test interview shall be issued afterwards. No

12.TA/DA shall be given to candidates coming for test/interview, and they shall have to produce original documents at the day of interview.

Government of the Punjab issued on 17-09-2004.
